One of the things I adore about Mischka Aoki’s dresses for little girls is that despite the Chanel-style pearl and chain adornments, these are unequivocally clothes for children. Adorable, hand-finished, high-fashion, pretty clothes for children, which take the best of classic style and interpret it for little ones, rather than dressing them in scaled down versions of mummy’s clothes.
And yet, a part of me still pines for a grown-up version of this little frilly white confection – my personal favourite, from last season.
